Counselors and related professionals are invited to join the NBCC Foundation for free continuing education webinars. In this special five-part program housed within the NBCC Foundation’s established Building Professional Excellence series, expert presenters will provide professional development that aligns with CCE credentials and relevant topics related to clinical or professional practice.
The first webinar in the five-part program was held on Jan. 22, and featured Michael Jones, PhD, NCC, BC-TMH, LPC-S. Dr. Jones presented on the topic of “Navigating Ethics and Crisis Management in Telemental Health.” Dr. Jones, a prominent counselor educator who has also helped train over 8,000 clinicians in telehealth practices, shared ethical challenges unique to telemental health as well as many best practices to minimize risk for both clients and clinicians. The recording of this webinar will be made available in the CCE Academy platform. Professionals can view the recorded webinar at no cost, or for a small administrative fee, they can earn continuing education credit for viewing the full webinar and completing a short post-assessment.
Future webinars in the series will be announced on CCE and the NBCC Foundation’s social media and future registrations will be available on the NBCC Foundation’s website.
